KPE Episode 176 "Lacey and the Drama Queens"

"Lacey and the Drama Queens" by Fleur Beale.
Leilani from Room 18 has read this book and is interviewed by Ramona. Fleur Beale is a popular author at Pt England School and she brings us another slightly whacky story with an interesting message.
First we hear all about the wedding of Lacey's cousin in Perth, Australia and all the drama that the bridesmaids create as they get ready for the big day. Then when Lacey returns to New Zealand her best friend Vanessa acts really mean. And when the new girl at school, Belinda, tells the girls that their beloved hip hop teacher doesn't know what she's doing, things get really tense. Lacey just wishes everything could get back to normal.
Leilani tells us that there is another book in this series and she is hoping that our school library will get it in soon coz she wants to read it.

    Awsome podcast and Vocabulary. I liked the part when Leilani said "Oh my gosh I broke a nail" The expression was great aswell. Can't wait till your next podcast.

    What a great podcast.You used heaps of expression and so much information about those Drama queens.I wouldn't like to be friends with a drama queen.

    Exellant podcast.Both of yous have good expression. Plus clear voices. i liked the part when Leilani said "Oh my gosh I think I just broke a nail". Can't wait to hear another one from you 2.

    What a great podcast.That sounds like a pretty interesting book, I think you both do well in hiphop dancing but weddings are great aswell.

    Hey Ramona and lailani wonderful podcast I would love to hear a nother podcast of yours.The story did make me think why did they be drama queens in the first plcae.Love your podcast I would love to read that book i have heard of it but I did not have time to read it

    Nice podcast. So the story was about some drama queens, I've got a lot of cousins who are drama queens.Would you like a friend that was a drama queen? I know I wouldn't. But like I said before nice podcast,hope you do another one.

    You have produced a wonderful podcast that makes me want to listen to it over & over again.I think I might pop down to the library & read it myself.Talk about drama queens I mean breaking a nail please come on thats a small fuss because it will grow back by itself.Anyway love your expression & great way explaining the story Lelani:)!
