KPE Episode 275: "Getting Board"

David Hill is a favourite author of Pt England readers and "Getting Board" - one of his Kiwi Bites books - is very popular. Even if you are not a fan of skateboarding we are sure you will like this book. Read this 'teaser' from the story... "Cody hit the ground sprawling. His skateboard lay upside down. 'You OK?' a voice asked. The voice was coming from his dog. Cody's eyes bulged."

Listen as Crusader and Gabriel talk about "Getting Board" for their very first podcast.

  13. This was a great first podcast, guys. I tried to skateboard when I was younger but I'm a very clumsy person and my grandma got tired of patching up my jeans. I think I'll stick to skateboarding in video games.

Keep up the good work and remember that "help can come from strange places".

  19. This sound like a very exciting book. Skateboarding is very popular in the U.S.A. The only way I can stay on is to sit down on the board and go down a hill. That is really fun but if I stand up I fall off. I think you have to have good balance and practice a lot. Do many people skateboard where you live? Keep up the great work.
