Ashleigh has been reading "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Last Straw" which is the third book in the series by Jeff Kinney and Jasmine interviews her.

Let’s face it: Greg Heffley will never change his wimpy ways. Somebody just needs to explain that to Greg’s father. You see, Frank Heffley actually thinks he can get his son to toughen up, and he enlists Greg in organized sports and other “manly” endeavors. Of course, Greg is able to easily sidestep his father’s efforts to change him. But when Greg’s dad threatens to send him to military academy, Greg realizes he has to shape up . . . or get shipped out.

Jonita from room 17 has recently read a book called Diary of a Wimpy Kid - Rodrick Rules  by Jeff Kinney Jorja has interviewed Jonita to get a bit of insight as to what happens.

This is the second book in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series

The main character Greg Heffley's diary starts with summer and the misery of being on the swim team, which was not his idea. His friend Rowley has gone on another exciting vacation that Greg doesn't want to hear about. His little brother, Manny, and his parents continue to drive him crazy.

However, Greg's older Brother, Rodrick is giving him a lot of grief because he knows about the embarrassing incident that happened to him during the summer. Greg doesn't want anyone to know about this embarrassing incident because he has just started a new school and is eager to fit in with the others. Rodrick holds this secret over Greg and uses it to blackmail his younger brother.
