Like most New Zealand school kids, Lepa and Matthew from Room 15 have read
"Lucky Feather" by Joy Cowley.
Have a listen as they discuss this well known story and see if you agree with the message they have identified from this book.

Dear Lepa and Matthew,
ReplyDeleteI think the message in that book is an important one. In the end it is up to each person to do the right thing and make the right decisions.
Joy Cowley certainly thinks of interesting ways to get her ideas across doesn't she!
I enjoyed your podcast. You both presented it in such a way that I wanted to listen right to the end.
Love from Mrs Jarman.
Hey Matthew and Lepa, my name is Courtney and I attend the University of South Alabama in the U.S. First of let me say I loved the music. Also, the slide show was a great idea. This book seems to have been a really good story with an awsome lesson. You guys did a wonderful job. Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteHi Matthew and Lepa,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Belinda and I am a student in Dr. Strange's EDM 310 course and the University of SOuth Alabama. I liked your podcast. The two of you really expressed yourselves well. I agree with the both of you that the moral of the story is that you do need to believe in yourself and not rely on lucky items to help us accomplish tasks.
my suggestion is another great J.Cowley's book: "Don't you laugh at me". It's funny!
