KPE Episode 237: "Jellylegs" by Elizabeth Pulford

Leoden and Blessing bring us episode 237 of the KPE podcasts. In this they talk about the book Leoden has read, "Jellylegs", and tell us about the Pt England cross country event that they have been training for - along with the rest of the school. They get onto talking about the cross country because this story is about a girl who is training to run in her school marathon event.
We know you will enjoy viewing this podcast as much as you will enjoy reading the book. Elizabeth Pulford is on of the favourite authors reviewed on KPE and if you click here you will be able to see the other FIVE of her books we have podcast!

  1. Well done boys. You did a great job of giving us enough insight into Jellylegs to make us want to read it AND telling us a lot of interesting anecdotes from your cross country training. I do hope that the cross country came off as well as your podcast did!
Looking forward to more from you.

  4. Hi, our names are Matthew and Grayson. We live in Otorohanga in the Waikato and are in Room 3 at Otewa School. We read about your school's podcasts during guided reading and thought we would have a look at what you do. We enjoyed listening to your book review and found it funny and interesting. We run our cross country through farm tracks and lots of mud too.

Keep up the great work. We will come back to listen to more.

  5. I am very impressed with your podcast Blessing and Leoden. I loved hearing the emotion in your voices - ka pai. I am visiting your school tomorrow (Tuesday) to learn all about podcasting - I am hoping one day the school I teach at can offer it to our students too. Keep up the great work.
